Gently pull the tab, opening the arm band and slide your arm through. Position the QardioArm device on the inside of your upper arm, about an inch or 2 cm above the joint of your elbow. The Qardio logo should be pointing down, towards your hand. Fit the QardioArm snugly in place; not too tight. Rest your arm on a flat surface, for example on a table, with your palm facing upward; QardioArm should be at the same height as your heart. It's that easy, you are now ready to use your QardioArm. To remove the QardioArm, unfasten the Velcro to loosen the arm band. Slide your arm out of the cuff and wrap the cuff back around the device. Once you have closed your QardioArm it will then turn off on its own after a few minutes.
