Maintain your wood cutting boards and countertops with this premium oil and wax applicator by Thirteen Chefs. To use, pour mineral oil directly onto cutting board surface, then use the sponge applicator end to evenly spread the oil or wax across the surface of the board. Be sure to apply oil or wax to both sides of the cutting board for best results. The ergonimic beech handle provides an easy grip to make sure the oil can get onto the sides and ends of the cutting board as well. When done, simply place the applicator cap back over the sponge for a mess free clean-up. Thirteen Chefs recommends oiling your cutting board every two weeks or whenever it begins to look or feel dry to the touch. Proper maintenance of wood boards and countertops helps to prevent warping, stains and bad odors from forming in the wood.
