• DESIGNED FOR SQUIRREL CONTROL — This 15-inch-tall, 6.25-inch-diameter cylinder baffle is designed to help prevent squirrels from climbing bird feeder poles. For raccoon problems, choose the larger Songbird Essentials Predator Defeater Raccoon & Squirrel Baffle.
• POLE-MOUNT DESIGN —The baffle is a “slide on” single piece and doesn't snap together. One needs to remove the feeder and slip over the top on a one- piece pole or a 2-piece shepherd's hook.
• PROPER PLACEMENT MATTERS —To Install properly, slide baffle up the pole, attach the adjustable stabilizer at Least 4 1/2 Feet off the ground. Rest the Baffle on the Stabilizer.
• Make sure the pole or post you’re mounting to is at least 8 feet away from a tree or other launching point for squirrels.
