Pegitz Pegboard Peg Locks 50PCS (1/4 inch, Black)

A new and innovative way to secure pegs and hooks to a pegboard. These peg locks are easy to use and hold the peg or hook in place. Pegitz peg locks hold the peg or hook in the hole so it is less likely to fall out when an item is removed. It is removable, reusable and helps to preserve your favorite holes. Pegitz Peg Locks come in multiple colors to allow color coding of your work space. They also come in 2 sizes to fit regular and thin hooks. Pegboard hole size must be at least 1/4" in diameter (standard size). If you are not sure of hole size, you can try inserting a 1/4" drill bit by hand into the hole to verify. If hole is too small, you can fix by using 1/4" drill bit to widen. Installation Tips: 1. If the Pegitz part is hard to insert into the pegboard, it is typically because the holes are smaller than 1/4 inch. You can fix this by using a 1/4 inch drill bit to widen the hole. 2. If the hook is hard to put into the Pegitz part once installed in the pegboard, you can "Pre-Stretch" the Pegitz part by pushing it onto the hook BEFORE inserting into the pegboard. Then, remove hook and install into pegboard as normal. If the pegboard holes are too small (see #1 above), it can make the hook harder to insert.
