The bench buffer comes with an extended shaft profile (5-1/2" on each end) that accepts wider pieces for buffing. For your convenience, it mounts and supports 8-inch buffing wheels (of all types) with a 5/8" arbor hole. This heavy duty bench buffer runs at a slow speed of 1750 RPMs to help prevent overheating of finishes. The powerful 1/2 horsepower motor delivers reliable performance, with a smooth and quite operation perfect for any workshop environment. To help deliver an optimal and fully stabilized performance, the machine possesses an iron cast base with a standing profile and mounting holes for additional mounting support.
