Description

Blu-Lock fittings are a fast, long-lasting, environmentally friendly way to connect flexible polyethylene pipe from an irrigation valve to the heads or drip manifolds in each zone without solvents or clamps. Stainless steel teeth grip the pipe tightly and a special O-ring creates a watertight seal while still allowing for rotation of the fitting after insertion, and you can immediately pressurize the system with no wait time for joints to cure. Built-in removal for 1/2-in. and optional Blu-Lock removal tool for 3/4-in. and 1-in. facilitate easy removal and reuse of fittings. 3/4-in. and 1-in. Blu-Lock fittings are compatible with 100 PSI SIDR 15 and 80 PSI utility HDPE pipe. 1/2-in. Blu-Lock is a proprietary size that can be joined to existing swing pipe systems with 1/2-in. Blu-Lock x Spiral Barb fitting. Use 1-in. and 3/4-in. Blu-Lock with lateral lines to convey water to each zone and 1/2-in. Blu-Lock to provide a rotatable, adjustable “swing pipe” connection at each spray head, impact sprinkler, or gear-drive rotor. Blu-Lock is designed for non-constant pressure (valve-out) cold water outdoor irrigation only. Use PVC-Lock for constant pressure (valve-in) applications. Maximum recommended operating pressure is 100 PSI.
