• Make sure to turn on Airplane Mode and turn off Wi-Fi before launching BimmerCode or BimmerLink—this is a common fix if the device won’t connect or the app says the license isn’t valid. After you access the menu, turn Wi-Fi back on (keep Airplane Mode on) to avoid license errors. Tested on iPhone and works perfectly.
• Device Compatibility Notice: This cable is not universally compatible with all USB-C phones. Before purchasing, please check if your phone supports Ethernet over USB-C (OTG mode required). Some Android models and most iPhones before the iPhone 15 do not support wired Ethernet connections. See description below for how to check compatibility.
