• Usage 1: Used to cover up the removed strike plate hole/opening. Block the access to latch closed. Ideal for covering the opening from removal of door handle/deadbolt.
• Standard Size and Shape: Applicable to standard door strike openings/receptacles on the door frame. Standard size and shape for no need to cut the jamb for matching. Direct installation for any latch strike with screw holes spaced 1-5/8”.
• Usage 2: Used to prevent the extra wide door trim/frame/jamb from bolt-hitting. Just install the blank strike plate on the front trim.
• Edge Smoothed to prevent hands from being scratched. Constructed of durable stainless steel in matte black finish.
• Wood Dowels Included: Comes with wood dowels for filling the old screw holes (if needed). Fix the problem that the screw hole is oversized and the screw won’t tighten. You can fill the screw hole directly or apply glue to the wood dowels to secure them.
