The Universal Steel Strapping Kits Refill includes 1 coil of 1/2 inch x 200 feet steel strapping with 1100 lbs break strength and a pack of 100 1/2-inch open (snap-on type) seals. It is mostly intended to replenish consumables in our 1/2-inch steel strapping kits that you can find at our IDL Packaging Amazon Brand Store. If you do not have the strapping tools yet, purchase one of our complete steel strapping kits. We offer different packaging strapping solutions that include pre-picked strapping products that work perfectly together. On the other hand, if you already have all the necessary strapping tools, this set can be used to replenish stocks of your packing material. Steel strapping is intended for extra-heavyweight load applications such as banding together stone, spools, brick, foam blocks, roofing materials, etc. The resistance of steel strapping to cutting impacts from sharp objects and break strengthis significantly superior to any other strapping can provide (Cord, Polyester, and Polypropylene). Galvanized rust-resistant seals easily apply over strapping and can quickly be closed and secured. Sturdy metal seals allow a firm grip, prevent slippage and loss of tension.
