INSTALLATION METHOD Prepare the Car Shell: Drill holes in the car shell where the components will be installed, ensuring proper alignment for a secure fit. Install the Top Spotlight: Position the top spotlight on the roof of your Redcat Ascent-18. Secure it using screws through the drilled holes for stability. Install the Rear Taillight: Locate the rear window area for the taillight. Secure it with screws through the drilled holes (a wiring hole is needed). Ensure it’s tightly attached. NOTE: If installing the rear taillight with screws is challenging due to space constraints, a strong adhesive can be used instead. Make sure the adhesive cures completely before using the vehicle. Connection to the ESC: Connect the lighting kit to the vehicle’s Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) for power. If space is limited, carefully remove and reposition the ESC forward to create enough room for installation.
