• The 69900 is designed to thread onto a spiral wound crush proof vacuum hose with an inner diameter of 2.00”. To insure compatibility with your hose follow the outside corrugation of your vacuum hose around the hose to confirm it is a spiral wound hose to accept the left hand threaded 69900 collar
• Inner diameter of the female slip end of the 69900 is 2.00” with a 2.00” length. The outer diameter of the 69900 is 2.250” tapering larger to 2.325” at the shoulder. The threaded portion is designed to capture and hold a spiral wound crush proof plastic hose that accepts a hose with a maximum outer diameter of 2.60” at the top of the hose crown. The threaded end accepts 4 pitches of the hose per inch and is 2.85” in length
• The 69900 is not designed to fit 2” inner diameter spiral wound hose only which have a typical 2.40” to 2.50” outer diameter. It is not compatible with the typical hose shop vacuum hose formed with concentric rings in the blow mold or vacuum formed process
• The 69900 2.0” slip end 360 degree rotates independently of the thread end allowing for easier manipulation of the connection. The 69900 female slip end design permits rotation around a fixed point help to reduce kinking and stress being placed on the vacuum hose
• Molded using an 85-90 shore PVC permitting the threads engaging the hose a degree of flexibility accommodating minor variation in the pitch and spacing of the hose corrugations
• Designed for the left hand thread pattern typical of spiral would crush proof hoses and easily engages the hose holding secure against stripping from the hose
• The rotating 2” diameter slip end is 2.25” in length with a stop shoulder preventing a male end from extending into the hose where it might cause damage. The stop shoulder helps insure a smooth transition of the air stream into the hose
