How to Secure the Pads Attach the hip pad with the wider side facing down, and the thigh pad with the narrower side facing down. Fold the A4 double-sided tape into 8 parts or cut it into strips about 2cm wide. Remove one side of the tape and attach it to the outside or inside of the pad. To make it easier to remove the other side of the tape, fold the corners slightly. Position the pad where you want it, then pull the folded back side to remove it.
