Metal Detector Operation Manual I. Preparation 1. Battery Installation: - Take out the 9V battery (supports disposable or rechargeable batteries; choose according to the purchased package). Remove the insulating film from the positive/negative terminal of the battery (remove any protective stickers if present). - Open the battery compartment of the detector, install the battery correctly according to the "+" and "-" polarity labels, and secure the compartment cover tightly. 2. Pre-Power-On Setup: - Ensure there are no metal objects within 30cm around the detector before turning it on (to avoid false detection during initialization). II. Power-On and Default Mode 1. Power-On: - Long-press the power switch (marked with a power symbol) until you hear a short "Di—" (beep) and the indicator light turns on. 2. Default Alert Mode: - The device starts in Sound Alert Mode by default. When metal is detected, it will emit a "beep-beep-beep" sound. III. Alert Mode Switching (3 Modes, Cyclic Switching) Short-press the power switch while the device is on to cycle through the modes in the following order: 1. 1st Press: Vibration Alert Mode (device vibrates to indicate detection); 2. 2nd Press: Sound + Vibration Mode (both beeping and vibration activate); 3. 3rd Press: Sound Alert Mode ("DiDiDi " beeping); 4. Subsequent Presses: Repeat the cycle of the three modes. IV. LED Light Control (Button Marked "T") - Turn On LED Light: The front LED light is on by default when the device is powered on (suitable for detection in dark environments). - Turn Off LED Light: Short-press the "T" button to turn off the LED light. - Convenient Operation: The LED light can be controlled independently while the device is on—no need to power off to switch. V. Detection Operation Guide 1. Holding Posture: - Grip the detector handle and keep the detection head (front sensor area) parallel to the ground or object surface, maintaining a distance of 1-2cm while moving it at a steady speed. 2. Metal Identification: - When metal is detected, the device triggers an alert according to the current mode (sound/vibration/both). Larger metal objects will cause stronger alerts (e.g., faster beeping frequency or more intense vibration). 3. Detection Depth Reference: - One-yuan Coin (Iron): Detectable at 6cm depth (in soil or flat ground environments); - Maximum Detection Depth: 25cm (for metal objects with a diameter ≥15cm, such as iron buckets or metal pipes); - Note: Actual depth depends on metal type (iron/copper/aluminum, etc.), size, and environmental conditions (soil moisture, mineralization). Larger metal objects with better conductivity have greater detection depth. 4. Important Note: - This device does not have iron discrimination function and will alert for all metals (including iron, copper, aluminum, etc.)—it cannot filter specific metal types. VI. Power-Off - Long-press the power switch for 3 seconds until you hear a long "Di—" (beep), and the device will turn off.
