Business Bankruptcy, Las Vegas Business Liquidation Services

Business Bankruptcies are stressful– they demand attention to detail to make sure you’re in compliance with all the laws governing your specific case.

When it comes to selling the assets of your business, Nellis Auction takes the burden off your shoulders to bring in the most money possible for any investors involved.

At Nellis Auction, we specialize in off-site auctions.

In many cases, it wouldn’t make financial sense to move heavy machinery or equipment across town to us, so we will bring the buyers to you. Through our direct marketing and specialized mailings, we are able to contact interested buyers and get them to your location. We’ll set up the auction, hold a preview, and conduct the event— all at your location. Many times, interested local parties already know your location and this can simplify the process even more.

In instances not requiring an off-site auction, we are simply able to pick up your items and store them at our location until given approval from the courts to proceed with the sale.

We have the marketing experience, the auction expertise, and the know-how to get the right people bidding on your items.

In business in Las Vegas since 1974, we have the area connections and leading regional experience to serve you.

Contact us today to schedule a meeting and we’ll walk you through our process and discuss ways we can help you.

Warehouse Redesign- New Display Case, New Stage, New Auction Block

Just because we didn’t have an auction last weekend doesn’t mean we weren’t still hard at work.  We can’t wait for you to see some of the changes we’ve made in the main warehouse—We think you will like them!

We have redesigned our auction ring one!  We’ve installed new display cases and built a new auction block.  Gone are the cubicles and in its place is a brand new stage!  Our guys, Tony and Caesar, have been working hard all week on building us the platform.  The stage will be used to better display furniture, TVs, tables, and various other nice items.

We’ve also moved some of our electronics up front and center to the ring one display case.  This will allow for better viewing and also increased security on these more valuable items.

…and here is the big news…

CHAIRS!!!

In the redesign, we were able to add in some limited seating for you!  Now, we won't be able to seat everyone, but if you come early and stay all day, you’re sure to appreciate this added comfort.

Let us know what you think about all the added changes on our facebook page!

Also, be sure to come to preview day tomorrow from 9 to 5 and check out all the great items we have available for this weekend!

Estate Services provided by Nellis Auction

We work directly with the Clark County Public Administrator and the Public Guardian.

We work directly with the Clark County Public Administrator and the Public Guardian.

Nellis Auction in Las Vegas, Nevada works with families, estate professionals, and civic entities (including the Clark County Public Administrator and Public Guardian) on a daily basis, to help sort through relatives’ estates or other estates they’re in charge of.

Las Vegas estate management professionals often refer us when the time comes to sell a loved one’s assets, because our process is simple.

We are a full-service estate auction company— this means we can handle every aspect of liquidating an estate, from packing to selling the property.

First we schedule a walk-through of the estate.  This gives us a baseline of what we are working with and can help us schedule what size truck and crew to bring. During the initial walkthrough, items of importance are photographed and detailed so that they can be properly marketed to our large specialty buyer group and we can get the most money for your items.  Our contacts in the industry are expansive, and made up of the best local experts and national buyers.

We work side-by-side with the trustee to make sure personal documents and items are properly cared for.  Then our team of professionals will box up the entire estate and transport it to our 25,000 square foot warehouse facility, where it is stored until the date the items are to be sold.

Our warehouse staff carefully displays items to bring their best value.

The week of the auction, our warehouse team carefully decides how to properly organize and display the items, using their years of auction experience, to get the most value for your assets.  Then our marketing department photographs and advertises the sale using varied tools including: direct mail, local publications, our website that gets well over 30,000 hits a month, our email list containing over 1,000 active auction buyers, and directly contacting specialized industry buyers.

Professional Auctioneer, Dan Watson, conducts an estate auction at our Las Vegas auction.

During the auction, our professional auctioneers know how to get the crowd excited and bidding often!  They will properly identify your items and give any important details that might be needed for buyers to make informed decisions about an item’s value.

Once your items have been sold at our estate auction, we will arrange to mail you a check the following Wednesday!

A family-owned and operated business since 1974, we strive to continue our tradition of honesty, integrity, and hard work— from the first time you call Nellis Auction until payment is delivered to you.

How to Buy at an Auction

How to Buy at an Auction

If you've never been to an auction before, it might seem intimidating.  The auctioneers speak quickly and in what sounds like an entirely different language.  There are people raising their hands, flagging their bid card, and yelling out randomly.  However, in reality, there is a basic way auctions run and once you figure that out, you to can be an auction pro.
